Oakham to Kettering Railway Line is a
railway line in central
England. It generally used for
freight. It is used however as a diversion for other passenger routes and for the occasional excursion.
The highlight of the route is the
Welland Viaduct where the line crosses the
Welland valley between
Rutland and
Northamptonshire.
Proposals to open the route for passenger traffic and opening new stations (particularly at
